His mornings start when he awakens at 5:30 a.m. in his Grand Junction, Colorado home. After preparing for the day, he joins his wife, Amy, and two children for a quick breakfast before heading to the office a bit before 7:00 a.m.

His employees begin showing up at 8:00 a.m., so the quiet hour allows Tyler to review open jobs, examine any emergency calls that his crew worked on the night before, catch up on emails and estimate writing and prepare himself for the new, challenging day.

Most mornings Tyler meets with his construction workers and mitigation technicians before they head out to jobs for the day.  He also has an office manager and marketer to coordinate.  He makes sure each is up-to-speed on the various aspects of every job in progress.

Before joining Delta Disaster Services®, Tyler was building new homes around the country, including North Dakota and Colorado.  His experiences include both residential and commercial construction.

Wednesday mornings, Tyler’s day starts with a webinar put on by Delta Disaster Services® corporate office.  A new educational webinar is offered every Wednesday.  Each webinar is different, covering various aspects of running a franchise including; estimating, marketing, operations, and finances.

Once his crew departs, Tyler’s day begins in earnest.  Whether meeting with subcontractors or homeowners or adjusters. He could be calling mortgage companies, or walking jobs to ensure things are being done properly.  His days are varied and always interesting.  One of the things that Tyler likes most about life in insurance restoration, is that no two days are alike; there are always new and interesting challenges.

Weekends are family time, barring a major claim coming in.  His children are very active in athletics and both he and his wife enjoy hiking, biking, and being outdoors.  Living in Colorado, and the lifestyle provided by his Delta Disaster Services® franchise allows Tyler the resources to fully enjoy everything the state has to offer.
